Hey,

Nice to meet you. I’m Josh, and I fell in love with playing drums right from the go. I’m a full-time performer, recording artist, and educator, with a passion for spreading the joy of music, art, and creativity through my music and teaching.

I played my first show when I was 12, at the legendary Southampton venue, The Joiners, and since then, music has been such a huge part of my life. If I could, I’d let everyone experience that same euphoria that comes with learning an instrument and performing that to people, but I’d love to share that with you.

I have the option to provide bespoke and individually tailored drum tuition from my own home studio, equipped with a full recording setup, or online via zoom. I can also offer full remote drum recording with industry-standard mics and equipment, and full music production.

JOSH BETTERIDGE

Josh Betteridge is a professional musician based in Southampton, UK.

For the past fifteen years, Josh has been performing, writing, and recording music with a wide range of artists and projects. This has provided him with the experience, knowledge, and adaptability required to perform in a huge variety of different genres and locations, from small intimate settings to huge festival stages.

Since 2015, Josh has been playing drums and a key part of the creative process in his originals band, Wild Front, an alternative rock band with a blend of dreamy soundscapes and funky elements. They have featured on BBC Radio 1, played the main stage at the Isle of Wight Festival, and have toured up and down the country and Europe.

Josh studied at Cardiff University, finishing with a 2:1 bachelor's Degree in Music.

With a wealth of experience spanning multiple different genres, Josh is a diverse and passionate drummer, whether he’s playing live, recording in the studio, or sharing his love of drums through tuition.

Josh plays Ludwig Drums, Zildjian Cymbals, and Pro-Mark Drum Sticks.
